Quantum Habits: Make Remembering Who You Are a Daily Practice
Habits? Really?!
We all know habits shape our lives—Lao Tzu warned us:
“Watch your habits; they will become your character. Watch your character; it will become your destiny.”
(No pressure, right?)
But let’s be honest—habits seem… well… boring! You might be thinking:
"Oh good grief, is Dr. Lori really going to make me do stuff?"
YES! And here’s the secret… this course isn’t really about habits. Habits are just the vehicle to get us to what really matters: who we truly are.
How you do anything is how you do everything. Our approach to even the smallest task reflects our approach to life. Quantum Habits aren’t just about productivity or behavior change; they’re about conscious transformation. These small, powerful shifts go beyond the physical and tap into a deeper understanding of Quantum Metaphysics. Instead of being something we "do," they become an expression of who we are.
Why does this matter?
Because habits contain clues about our unconscious beliefs. They are treasure troves of information about how we operate at the deepest levels.
Carl Jung put it this way:
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
Here’s the Hitch in the Giddy-Up:
By some estimates, 95% of our thoughts and actions happen below the level of conscious awareness. That’s a heck of a hitch. To further complicate things we can’t change what we don’t see!
We will be using the book Atomic Habits by James Clear. In this book he states; “We don’t rise to the level of our goals—we fall to the level of our systems” The system we will be working with is the most powerful system there is Consciousness!
We used to joke in class: if you didn’t know the answer to a question, you could just say “consciousness” and have a good chance of being right! Because it’s everything.

We’ll also draw on insights from the #1 New York Times Bestseller, The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins.
This transformative book teaches a simple yet powerful concept: focus on yourself and what you can control. Let others do what they’re going to do, and turn “Let them” into “Let me.”
