Gratitude is Creative
Dr. Jim Lockard
“And the days that I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations, I have really good days.” ~ Ray Wylie Hubbard
Gratitude contains within it a consciousness of perfect expectation, which is an energy that facilitates manifestation. When we treat, we include gratitude in advance in order to create this consciousness of perfect expectation in relation to our desire.
If I believe that my thoughts, feelings, and beliefs direct my experience, why wouldn’t I have a consciousness of perfect expectation? Why wouldn’t I expect the best? It is because I doubt myself or my relationship with Spirit that I limit my expectations by limiting the quality of my thinking.
This Thanksgiving, make your gratitude for the coming year, not just for the past year. Begin to create and evolve that expectation of good however you would like it to manifest. Where you feel contraction or limitation, treat yourself for expansion, deepening, and abundance. It is all there in potential awaiting your call to bring it forward into your experience.
“In everything give thanks. An attitude of gratitude is most salutary, and bespeaks the realization that we are now in heaven. How we love to do for those who co-operate with, and are grateful for, our small endeavors! Gratitude is one of the chief graces of human existence and is crowned in heaven with a consciousness of unity.” ~ Ernest Holmes, SOM Text, 1938, p. 497.2
