I love this year’s theme, and what an amazing way to start the year … in celebration! ‘I celebrate my commitment to living life to the fullest.’ Aren’t you ready to make this affirmation THE mantra for your 2023? I am! I am ready to commit myself to this type of celebration … NO MATTER WHAT!
And truly if we take pause, we understand that there is so much for us to celebrate: our joy brings us bliss; our struggles bring us insight; our awareness brings us presences; and our commitment to knowing who we truly are brings us EVERYTHING! That’s right…EVERYTHING! It takes your consciousness; it takes your commitment to your Christ Consciousness, to bring you all that you desire. And your desire is worth celebrating!
So, what is this Christ Consciousness that we speak of often in service and in classes? In John 10:30 Jesus said, “I and the Father are One.” Jesus claimed his own Divinity, he claimed his real power, he claimed his Oneness as the Creator, not just with the Creator. Having Christ Consciousness is having the Consciousness of Oneness, the understanding of what Meister Ekhart meant when he said, “Between God and me, there is no between,” and he also said, “The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God's eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love.” That is the type of consciousness that creates the very life we seek to experience.
But it’s not just spirituality that understands the power of Oneness. The theory of quantum physics rests on the recognition that ‘there is no fundamental difference in composition or behavior between matter and energy’ (Physicist Louis de Broglie, 1924). What does that mean? It means that there is no separation between that which tangible (matter) and intangible (energy). Matter and energy are ONE …they are two sides of the same coin. Your thoughts and beliefs (energy) become things (matter/experience). Physicist Erwin Schrodinger said, “The total number of minds in the Universe is ONE. In fact, consciousness is a singularity phasing within all beings.”
How I translate (and celebrate) what Schrodinger is saying is simple: “My mind IS the Divine Mind AT ALL TIMES!” (Dr. Liza Marquez). That’s true for me, it is true for you, it is true for all. It is worth knowing and celebrating this as your birthright! And that is how I see me in 2023! What will your energy be that creates what you see in 2023?
